As Rock Harbor celebrates its seventh birthday, we give thanks for changed lives and look ahead to the calling God has for us.

In Ephesus, the gospel threatens the things people depend on for security, identity, and success. Their response raises a searching question for us: Can even a church become so attached to its comfort, buildings, programs, or numbers that it loses sight of Jesus?

In The Way of a Faithful Church, Pastor Kevin Diamond invites us to surrender what we hold too tightly and renew our commitment to follow Jesus together:

• Keep Jesus at the center.

• Keep people in our hearts.

• Keep our future in His hands.

The Good News for us today is that Jesus frees us from the things we cling to and forms us into a people who belong to Him.
