We're inviting adults to take a next step at Rock Harbor-whether you're ready to begin serving or return to a team.
Find My Place to Serve
Worship and serve on the same Sunday.
With services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., you can worship at one service and serve at the other. Tell us your preference, and a ministry leader will help you plan around the responsibilities of your role.
Already serving once a month? Consider adding one more Sunday. You do not need to complete another application. If you already use Planning Center Services, update your team's scheduling preferences to show that you are willing to serve more often. You can also notify the church office at office@rhfl.org or your volunteer coordinator. Your coordinator will confirm the additional Sunday with you. Thank you for what you already give-one additional Sunday can help a team welcome and care for more people.

We're also inviting adults to explore serving with our youth, primarily at Sunday evening youth groups and other gatherings outside Sunday morning. Help students build relationships, explore faith, and follow Jesus.
Share your interest and evening availability. Our team will discuss the role, fit, preparation, and any required screening with you.

- Share your interests. Tell us where you are willing to serve and when you are available.
- Connect with our team. We'll consider your gifts and ministry needs together. We may recommend another area where you could serve well.
- Prepare and get on the schedule. Once staff review, placement, and any required preparation are complete, your leader will confirm your first serving date.
An application expresses interest; it does not guarantee placement in a particular ministry or approve you to begin serving.

What if I'm not sure where I should serve?
That's a good place to begin. Let us know you're open to recommendations, and we'll help you explore the possibilities.
Does choosing RKidz, Youth, or another team guarantee that placement?
No. Your selections tell us your interests and willingness. Our team will review the fit and may recommend another ministry. Any required preparation and screening must be completed before you begin.
Can I worship and serve on the same Sunday?
Yes-our 8:30 and 10:30 services make that possible for many Sunday roles. A leader will confirm the time commitment for the role you explore.
What if I already serve?
Thank you! You do not need to fill out another application to add a Sunday. Update your team's scheduling preferences in Planning Center Services, or contact the church office at office@rhfl.org or your volunteer coordinator. Your coordinator will help confirm the additional date.
How do I offer more availability in Planning Center?
Services app: Tap your profile picture or initials, then Teams. Choose your team, tap Schedule, and choose your preferred frequency (for example, up to twice a month). Tap Done, then Save.
On the web: Open your profile picture or initials, then My Profile. Under Teams, change your team's frequency and save with the check mark. If you previously set an overall monthly limit under Preferences, update that too.
These preferences help your coordinator schedule you; they do not automatically add a serving date. If your team has Signup Sheets available in My Schedule, you can choose an open position there. Otherwise, your coordinator will confirm the date.
When can I begin?
There's no fixed signup deadline. You can begin as soon as your placement is agreed and any required preparation is complete.
