RHFL - The Way to Bethlehem - Pt. 1 - The Way Back Home (8:30 am)
Rock Harbor Church FL
Series: The Way to Bethlehem
Message: The Way Back Home
Preacher: Pastor Kevin Diamond
Sunday: November 23, 2025
Core Scripture: 1 Peter 1
In this message launching our Christmas series The Way to Bethlehem, we step into the epic story of redemption that began long before Bethlehem. Peter opens his letter by calling believers “God’s elect… exiles”—reminding us that ever since Eden, humanity has been far from the home we were created for. But God has never left us wandering.
Before the world began, He planned our rescue.
In Bethlehem, He stepped into our exile.
At the cross, He paid the full price of redemption.
And in the resurrection, He opened a living hope that leads us home.
Through 1 Peter 1, we walk the path from Eden to Bethlehem to Calvary…and discover that the Way Back Home is not something we earn. It’s something Jesus already accomplished. Peter knew this firsthand. The risen Christ restored him—not because Peter did everything right, but because Jesus did everything necessary.
If you’re weary, wandering, or feeling far from God, this message invites you to look to the One who came into our exile to bring us home.
