RHFL - Sunday Worship - 8:30a - Smart Home - Pt. 6: The Contract

Oct 12, 2025 • Pastor Kevin Diamond

Title: The Contract

Preacher · Pastor Kevin Diamond

Sunday, October 12, 2025 · Rock Harbor Church

Core Scripture: Matthew 19:3–6 (NIV)

We protect square footage with 100-page contracts…but treat lifelong vows like a single sheet of paper. Jesus resets our thinking: marriage isn’t a contract to enforce…it’s a covenant to embody. In this message, Pastor Kevin unpacks three approaches to marriage (casual, contractual, covenantal), walks through God’s plan from Genesis 2, and shows how the marriage covenant points to the New Covenant in Christ—culminating in a clear gospel and baptism invitation.
