🗣️ Pastor Kevin Diamond
Our world says, “Just follow your heart.” But what if that’s the most dangerous advice you could take?
In this powerful message, Pastor Kevin unpacks 2 Samuel 7:1–11, where King David had a noble dream, received emotional encouragement, and yet was lovingly redirected by God. Through this story, we learn that our hearts are divided, deceptive, and often delusional—and they’re not worthy guides for our lives.
Instead, Scripture invites us to follow God’s heart through His Word, His Spirit, and wise counsel.
🧠Key Questions Explored:
Can good intentions still lead us off course?
What’s the difference between godly advice and emotional affirmation?
Why is God’s “no” sometimes His greatest gift?
How do we surrender our dreams to God’s redirection?
đź“– Key Scriptures:
2 Samuel 7:1–11; Proverbs 21:2; Jeremiah 17:9–10; Hosea 10:2; James 1:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Proverbs 11:14
🙌 Whether you’re a father leading your family, a young adult making life decisions, or someone searching for clarity in a confusing world—this message will help you anchor your direction in God, not your emotions.
